Join the Louisville Astronomical Society at the Parklands of Floyds Fork at the Cliffside Center location from 1-3 PM to view the Sun, our private star, safely though solar telescopes.

LAS members will be using specially-equipped telescopes with solar filters that allow you to view the sun and sunspots safely. NEVER look at the sun through binoculars or a telescope on your own. Look through ours.

Directions to Broad Run Cliffside Center: take the Gene Snyder to the Bardstown Road exit 17.

Turn south on Bardstown Road and follow for approximately 4 miles and look for the park entrance on your left.
Turn left into Broad Run Park and onto Broad Run Parkway.
Follow Broad Run Parkway and signs to Cllffside Center, where you'll see a major parking area and trail kiosks
