These are ISO rated solar eclipse glasses. Be prepared for the solar eclipse next April. We do not want to have to get into mailing glasses to deliver them. What we plan to do is have them available at upcoming LAS public & member events such as our library eclipse talks shown in our "Events" listing. We are selling them on-line in advance to minimize cash handling at these events. Once you purchase glasses you shall be emailed a receipt. Bring that to receive your glasses. You can also purchase a pair directly at our Urban Astronomy Center (UAC) at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park this Saturday, March 16, for 10am to 2pm. Click above for a map to the UAC. Some people have inquired about our shipping the glasses. We have found it is not cost effective to do that for small quantities. However, if you order 20 or more pairs and live more than 30 miles from Louisville we shall ship them to you no charge. If you order fewer than 20 pairs or are closer to us, we shall also ship them after a adding a shipping charge.
